Get Your Lifetime Savings Plan

Mission Statement:

To help people make a plan to improve their lot, and do it.

"Those who know when they have enough are rich."

~ Chinese proverb

Making End$ Meet is an Economics practice that helps households and businesses plan and achieve their lives' savings. We help debtors become investors, and we help investors know how much is enough so they can proceed to enjoy the good things in life that money can not buy.

It all starts with a free Lifetime Savings Plan.  Create it yourself, or contact us to get help.

"Money will buy you a bed,
but not a good night's sleep;

a house, but not a home;
a companion, but not a friend."

~ Zig Ziglar

Some Remarks from Satisfied Clients:

"If there was a love button (on Facebook), I would push it."

"You may have seen us doing all sorts of crazy things, but the training you gave us has helped us immensely and will be of value for the rest of our lives.  NONE of your effort was wasted."

"We appreciate your insight and tenacity."

"You have had a great influence on my business' success . . . shaping our business plan, setting goals (many of which seemed outlandish at the time!), and teaching this rookie how to use a computer and run a business! My wife and I will always look back on those years with gratitude for your patient instruction and steadfast work ethic. The fact that we also found a good friend in the process makes your contribution all the more valuable.

Having an expert go over my finances and suggesting ideas or setting goals for the year is invaluable. I took the ideas you suggested at our last review and, yes, I am very happy with the results. I hope to continue our business relationship well into the future."

"Hi Kris!  We are doing well, getting ready to buy a home in October!  We learned a lot from you!  Thanks!"

"I felt such a wave of relief that I wasn't having to figure everything out [by myself] - from the smallest detail up to the really big details we have discussed."

"You have the patience of Job.  Thanks to your untiring encouragement, we are ready for our financial future."

"We are very happy we hired Kris to help us organize our finances and do a budget. We have found him to be very helpful and patient and appreciate his expertise in Quicken. Also, as an economist, he is very knowledgeable in financial matters. In particular he has done very interesting and unique work in isolating the mutual funds with the best track records. He is also very effective at helping people organize their business financials. I recommend Kris as a person of integrity and knowledge who is able to work successfully with people of all levels of financial experience."

"It was great to meet with you this afternoon. Thank you so much for your patient guidance through this budgeting process. You are a gem!"

"This is the best money I've ever spent."

"Why don't they teach this stuff in school?"

"It's the first time I've seen light at the end of the tunnel and it wasn't a train."

"How can we afford NOT to do this?"

"We can't live without this!"

"I've never sat down with anyone to talk about my dreams and goals like I did today . . . .  Thanks for asking questions, and for listening to me today . . . it meant a lot to me to be heard and taken seriously . . . ."

"Keep up the good work. 'Tis a noble profession."

"My husband and I don't fight about money any more."

"I thank God for bringing you into our lives."

History

In 1992 Eagle Scout and U.S. Marine Kris Freeberg completed his university education in business administration, economics, finance, and accounting. From the Boy Scouts he learned compassion; from the Marines, discipline. His main reason for studying these subjects was to simply learn how to manage his own money. But alas, personal financial management was not covered in any of the available courses.  Trained to be a C.P.A., he just couldn't get very excited about audits and tax returns.  He knew there had to be a better way to use his talents.

Consequently, he launched into a period of exhaustive independent study of personal financial management. From this study he gained an overview of the issues. But he found that almost all of the materials he studied were general and narrative, not specific and quantitative. In other words, they weren't "businesslike." So he combined his formal business education and his informal personal finance education to create a businesslike way to deal with personal finance, and in 1996 Making End$ Meet was born.

Today, having helped hundreds of households and businesses plan and accomplish their goals, Making End$ Meet offers the state of the art in both long term planning and day to day budgeting assistance to those who need it the most.  Please explore the web site, and thanks for dropping by!
