Break-Even Analysis &
Profit Planning

If you're a business owner, you've probably noticed how easy it is to get bogged down in the day-to-day details of running your business.  As things develop and change, it's easy to lose sight of where you've been and where you're going.

From time to time, it can be very helpful to step back and examine your current expense situation to learn where your break-even point is - that is, how much you must sell, in terms of both dollars and units, to cover all of your costs, and beyond which you can begin to enjoy a profit.

This same break-even analysis can be taken a step further, for once you've determined your break-even point, you can also determine what revenues and sales are necessary to attain a given profit goal.

The simple break-even analysis spreadsheet template is free for the taking.  Just click the icon on the upper right corner of this page to get it; and if necessary, contact us for help using it.  We're here to help.
