"Few people understand the concept or the power of accountability . . . . The greatest successes and the highest achievements almost always are due to accountability. Almost every great athlete or artistic performer has a coach . . . they do not need to be better than you are at what you are doing. Their role is to keep you on track, to make sure that you are doing what you set out to do and are looking at the results you are getting.

Hello, My name is Kris Freeberg. I'm a Microeconomist. Since 1996, through my practice Making End$ Meet, I've been helping individuals and groups plan and achieve their economic goals. I was inspired to make this survey when a real estate broker recently asked me to help her agents succeed. At first I noticed their need for Marketing Plans and some kind of Contact Management or CRM. Then I realized what she really needed was a management system that respected each agent's independence on the one hand, and on the other, helped the brokerage team work together, providing the broker with some kind of organizational "dashboard" that helped her know how her brokerage was doing as a whole. I saw how since agents are typically "people people" who do not like to spend much time in front of screens and keyboards learning software, on the one hand it had to be simple enough to be quick to learn and easy to navigate; and on the other, it had to be complete enough to answer pretty much any question a broker or agent might ask. It should be cloud-hosted, secure, mobile-friendly, flexible, and above all, it should respect agents' autonomy and freedom. I saw how anyone who developed such a thing would be doing a huge favor for a lot of people and would add tremendous value to the marketplace. As an application developer myself, I felt an urge to create such a system; but, not wanting to reinvent the wheel or assume unnecessary risks and costs, I realized other developers out there who are more talented and experienced than I am have probably created solutions already that are as good or better than anything I might create. I began to research the brokerage management system space, and was soon overwhelmed by the number of choices and their variety of features. I realized that if a developer and detail oriented person like me felt overwhelmed, how much more overwhelmed might more people-oriented real estate brokers and agents feel? I asked friends, relatives, and colleagues who work in real estate what, if any, systems their brokerages used. No one had a ready answer. Very soon, I realized I had stumbled upon a profound and widespread need to develop some clarity about the question for everyone. The purpose of this survey is to create and share such clarity. With your help, through it I hope either to identify, or to create, the best brokerage management solution, with which I can then proceed to help brokerages like yours thrive. It's a quick one-pager containing ten sets of questions. Below left is an image; when you click on it, you'll be led to the actual form. I look forward to learning & sharing findings with you! Thanks for your time! For your success, Kris Freeberg, Economist Making End$ Meet [email protected] (360) 224-4322 |
