Note: I write these reviews for my own edification. The process of writing them helps me progress from familiarity to mastery. It "locks" the knowledge I gained from each book into my mind, and also creates an easily reviewable, searchable, share-able summary. Writing them makes each book become a part of me. You might say it's my digestion process.
These books contain solutions to problems; and when in my work I encounter a problem that a book solves, having a separate review for each book with its own web address makes my job easier. Instead of saying "You should read this book" knowing that most people never will, I reference the book review in an email, text, or direct message. It does people who are disinclined to read books the favor of providing them with a shorter summary.
I never actually expect anyone to visit this page or read my reviews. I'm always pleasantly surprised when they do. Regardless, collecting them here helps me. If they help you and yours too, all the better.
